Xbox Live and Purchace pending

I bought my 12 month Xbox live put in my code and all i get is purchase pending although on my profile page it says my account is all ok and live it isn't. I cant connect to multiplayer games and no matter how many times I try to redeem my code I still
get purchase bloody pending Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr any help please would be great.....thanks in advance.

Xbox LIVE Gold issues - i cant connect

I bought Xbox LIVE Gold for a month, and my console says nothing about it, except my purchace confirmation. It says i still only have Xbox LIVE Free. By the way, i bought Gold on my Xbox console .

There seems to be no way around adding a credit card or linking a bank account to paypal if you want to use it as a payment method on xbox live. This should not be the case if there is sufficient balance on pay pal to cover the pending purchase. (and auto
renew concerns are not an excuse, because MS points are a one time purchace. ) Microsoft seems to be going out of its way to avoid my spending money on xbox live. Wish someone would prove me wrong!
