Xbox Live and Internet connection

I have had my Xbox for about 1.5 years now and for he past 2 or 3 months whenever I turn it on it doesn’t automatically sign me in and it takes a couple of tries.

Further when I try to look at my conversations they don’t load for a long time. Whenever I try to use YouTube or any other video app it is blurry and it buffers.

When I try to play an online/multiplayer game my ping is extremely high i.e in the thousands and I can’t access online features such as leaderboards.

Finally I am unable to update/install games and/or apps as it keeps saying “installation stopped”.

If anybody could help me t would be greatly appreciated

Why does it take so long for games to install?

Xbox Live or Your internet connection will determine how fast you can download data. The slowest connection will be the bottle neck.

 

I cant play Destiny?

I'm having the exact same problem.....this is such f***ing BS. I'm connected to the internet...xbox live is working fine on the rest of the system, and yet I'm stuck in a permanent cycle of "Attention: this game requires a connection to Xbox Live" notice. This is ridiculous.

If you have not already done so can you please follow the
Xbox Network Troubleshooter and hopefully the support steps listed here will help with the problems you are experiencing.

 

I have already tried that but all it says is to contact my internet service provider but we are quite certain that it isn’t the internet/broadband because all other devices work perfectly fine with the same internet from the same distance away so I do not
think that will help.

If any other ideas could be offered that would be amazing
