Xbox Live and Controller disconnect and reconnect randomly

Starting last night 4/22 my controller will disconnect randomly and the light will start the flash and at the same time my xbox live disconnects and reconnects. This happens about every 5-10 min. so makes it impossible to play online and is very annoying.
All other devices on the internet never disconnect so it has to be associated with the xbox. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Controller desyncing and Xbox Live disconnecting.

My Xbox One has been repeatedly desyncing my controller and then ~5 seconds later my console will disconnect from Xbox Live. If I'm in a part I can still hear every one clearly through the TV until it disconnects from Xbox Live. The controller will eventually
reconnect to the console and the console will reconnect to the internet. The problem occurs randomly. Does anyone know how to remedy the issue?

my controller randomly disconnects any game I’m playing crashes and I get disconnected from Xbox live briefly then it’ll reconnect by itself and if I am in a party I will get kicked from there too

 

Hey there!

Here's a few things to try/review:

1) Keep other devices away from the controller and console. THIS INCLUDES MOBILE DEVICES AND LAPTOPS! (They can interfere with the signal)

--This includes you phone being in your pocket while gaming. move it away.

2) Keep the controller and console within line of sight of eachother. (No walls, cabinets, other electronics in between the console and controller)

3) Make sure the controller is up to date in the devices section of the settings

4) Make sure you are using good batteries, and old/new batteries aren't being mixed
