    Xbox live age


    I recently got sea of thieves from steam because it was for sale. Then i got the error code avacadobeard which can be fixed by opening the game through the xbox app. To do that i need an adult xbox account(because i need to connect my steam with the app). My microsoft, and therefore also my xbox account were kid accounts because i accidentally used the wrong birth dates. I fixed that by making the microsoft account adult but the xbox app still says that i am a child and i have no idea how to fix that.

    @zane, no it is the xbox account age.

    also its not the windows live id age either. its the age that was inputted during the initial creation of the xbox live profile through the console.

    Plus the age rating on a game has nothing to do with xbox live.

    Age ratings only mean someone under that age can not buy the game,does not mean they can not play the game.

    Everything you do on xbox live must be rated E for everyone.That has always been the rules.
