XBOX LIVE Accounts

I have been a loyal xbox customer for well over 12 years most of this time holding two accounts under the gamer tags
and Lord Brush. Knowing that the Lord Brush account was nearing the end of its subscription, I purchased 2 xbox live gift cards on line . One was for 50.00 and the other was for 15.00. I redeemed
the 50 dollar card to the Lord Brush account then waited a while to put in the other 15 dollar card to cover the cost of renewing the subscription. When I got around to loading the 15 dollar card to the Lord Brush account, I discovered it had been suspended
which meant I could not load the 15 dollar card to reactivate the account. Not wanting to risk the 15 dollar card being applied to the wrong account, I chose to call for live assistance over the phone vs. using the on line assistance available on my computer.
The account rep. whose name was Kathy assured me she could assist me in getting the card redeemed on the right account to reactivate my subscription. She was very polite however, through a series of events to recover the password for the Lord Brush account
and despite my voiced reservations about using an alternative e-mail address, I was guided into placing the 15 dollar card into the account. Kathy apologized but said she could not move the transaction of 15 dollars from the account
to the Lord Brush account. She then told me she was going to set up a 10 dollar credit towards my Lord Brush account, so that plus the 50 dollars I already had placed
into the account with the xbox gift card would allow me to reactivate the account. Next she determined she could not do this, so she offered me a free month of xbox live. That’s not exactly what I was looking for since I still needed
10 dollars credit to activate my 12 month subscription and since the remaining credit I had purchased for that subscription was guided by Kathy into the wrong account. In the midst of all this, she told me she had sent the code to my email to activate the
free month which I didn’t want to have and which never arrived in my e-mail box anyway. Near the end of about an hour, I also lost my phone connection (which I suspect Kathy hung up on me) and Kathy, who took my phone number down in case we became disconnected,
never called back. I did see the attached e-mail pop into my e-mail box before I lost connection with Kathy.

As I stated earlier I’ve held two xbox live accounts for nearly 12 years. In that time I have purchased countless games and other extras for the xboxs ( both the original xboxs and the 360s) I owned. As I prepare to replace my 360s with new consoles,
considering the little concern you obviously have for me as a customer, I’m sure
SONY will welcome my purchase of two PS4s and all the gaming and extras that go with it.

Sharing gold membership between accounts on xbone

As long as the primary account have xbox live gold all other accounts get xbox live as well

 

Xbox is telling me to get Gold even though I have it?

Another way to attempt to fix this, is to remove the account from the xbox in settings->accounts-> remove accounts. After that is removed login with that gametag again to force the console to fetch your live subscription data. In rare cases your Xbox account and live account will lose sync.

 

Sorry to hear it. However, Xbox currency has never been an allowed form of payment for Xbox Live. More than likely this is why the agent was unable to complete your request.

If you have an outstanding balance on your account you'll need to contact phone support again and cover the cost with a valid credit card. After that you can add more Live to your account via a credit card, paypal or a prepaid membership card purchased
from your local retailer.

 

You can ONLY renew or start Xbox Live Gold with a prepaid subscription card or valid credit or debit card... And of course Paypal
