Xbox Live Account(s) unable to be fixed by microsoft support

My xbox account is set up with xbox family, that has impeded my ability to play certain games online. The resolution given to my by an xbox support representative was to make a new account and simply game share the xbox live gold. This has created
challenges as I don’t receive the benefits of xbox live on my new account. And upon trying to switch accounts and download on the main account it won’t allow me to purchase or play the games. I would be fine with closing my old account except I would lose
all my games and progress. It would be amazing to be refunded the money for the digital downloads or have th games transferred to my new account , however that solution doesn’t seem to be one that microsoft is willing to do. Has anyone else had similar problems,
if so how did you fix it? Also I have tried everyrhing on privacy settings and every other forum solution, nothing seems to work.

When you say it is impeding being able to play certain games online what exactly is happening when you try to play one of those games?

Are these games all M rated games?

Or rated for certain age groups?

Pssibly your account is setup to be limited on what rating of game that you can play

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. I'm sorry to inform you the option to transfer saved data, achievements and any/or game purchases from another Microsoft Account will not be possible. We currently do not have an available feature. The one
step we have available is changing the primary email on the Microsoft account.
You can however set up home consoleon your main profile.
Note:If you choose to remove an alias that uses a Microsoft domain such as @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, or @live.com, that alias will be completely deleted and will not be available to sign in to any Microsoft
services. A microsoft and Xbox account are one and the same. As there is nothing more I will be locking this thread.

No unfortunately not. But isn't it shame for the microsoft support, that they're unable to fix the account? But thanks for the advice.

Hi there,

when you encounter the issue that for some reason a second gamertag (Xbox Live Account) was created on an email address then it';s best to contact Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat they will be able to double if the two Xbox Live Accounts
are indeed connected to the same email address (Microsoft Account) and should also be able to advise on the steps to be taken on how to fix the issue.
