Xbox Live account muted.

Hi, I was playing COD:AW on Xbox One and opened dashboard by mistake and accidentally changed a setting on my Xbox Live account where it muted everything in game except for voice chat and made the game laggy I cant even play. I checked the console settings
and the game setting everything seems to be normal, Its something that is wrong with the xbox live account. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Xbox Live Stuck on Mute

Im having issues with my account specifically. There will be one person within a xbox live party chat Im in that will be muted. I cannot unmute them. They will be automatically muted. If I do manage to unmute them, another person within the party ends up
muted. This only happens when there’s more than 2 people in the party, including myself. I have logged into another account to test it and the other account was fine. It is my account alone. Any suggestions or solutions for this issue? Thanks

 

Everybody is muted!

Hey i have a xbox and stuff new acount and i have a problem Yesterday i made a account First thing When i play Cod Ghost every single guys mic is muted? but the same thing is in xbox live party rverybody is muted but when they are my friend they are not
muted, why is everbody muted? how can i unmute everybody (i cant click on them en do unmuted) en i dont realy found something in the xbox settings second thing everytime i ad a friend/download something it will ask me a password thats anoying sorry for bad

Sorry to hear about the issue you are having. Just to clarify, are you on the xbox 360 or the xbox one?

 

Xbox One, I tried making a new Xbox Live account but that one had the same problem to I guess its a problem with the system and not the account.

The problem is the connection in multiplayer is 1 bar so its really laggy but if I disconnect from internet and play campaign It has the exact same lag. so its not the internet.

 

The only way I found to solve the problem is to delete everything on the console, restore factory defaults, then reinstall everything again.

 

would really like to able to play tonight and use voice but since i had friends over last night and one sent a message back to a kid clearly started the trash talk my account gets muted?
