    Xbox Live Account Login Issue


    Hello

    I purchased my Xbox One along with the Live account on the Xbox five years ago from someone and have been playing it since with no problem. I got the black screen of death and after many hours finally resolved it by wiping all the data from my Xbox. Now, I need to sign into my live and I cannot remember what the person I purchased it from email address was that was linked to the live account. I added my current email to the recovery email so I can reset the password if I just knew the address. When I request the information Microsoft only gives me the first two letters of the email which is pretty useless. Is there any way I can find out what the email used to create the Xbox live account was with only the recovery email or the Gamertag?

    You mentioned that you could not login with your Xbox LIVE Account. Is there a specific error message that pops-up when you try to login?

    It appears that your computer is having some issues connecting to Xbox LIVE because there is no Xbox LIVE account linked to the computer profile.

    Currently their is no Xbox Live service alert. What error code do you get when you try to login with your account?

    Also, are you able to login with your account at account.live.com without any issues?
