Xbox Live Account Log On Issues

I haven't played my Xbox 360 in awhile and as I did so today, I ran into a problem.

When I turn on my Xbox I choose my Avatar which says my name as well as "Signed In". If I try to download an app, Netflix for example, it tells me that I need a Xbox Live account to continue. Is my assumption wrong that I have one considering that I have
an avatar with my name? Moreover, if I go to "sign in", it does nothing but take me back to the avatars. If I log back in and go under the settings, then:
Profile, Kinect, Account and
Privacy are all dimmed out. Also, this must have been the account that I made during my initial setup. I cannot even find where my name is stored nor can I find any personal information about me or how to change it.

I've been using this profile for the longest and never paid that much attention to it. I've been playing games under this account and have made a lot of progress so I'd like to do everything under this profile. Is it possible to locate the Xbox Live account
that's associated with it? How can I turn this account into a "Xbox Live" account and not an "Xbox" account? I dunno. I'm not a huge gamer. LOL.

Alternative:

I did attempt to log in using my email address via the site and by choosing to "download my profile". Apparently that pulled up another account for my Microsoft Office and generated another avatar.

Any idea?

It sounds like you may have what the 360s called an offline profile.

Have you ever done any Multiplayer gaming with this account?

Have you ever done anything online with apps like Netflix with this account?

The 360s unless you were going to do something online did not require you to have a MS account attached to it with the Ones all accounts need to have a MS account attached to it.

The profile is connected to an xbox live account, however when i try to log into the live account i receive an error stating there is an issue with my credentials.

If you were logged into the same Xbox Live Account then yes, only 1 person can use the REQ Packs. However, if you were logged in under separate accounts that should not be an issue.

It needs to have a WLID attached to the account in order to access live. If you no longer have access to that account you should try adding a new WLID

Hello,

Since you delete the Microsoft Account without changing the e-mail associated with the gamertag you've sort of put yourself in an awkward position. Try to fill out the Microsoft Account Recovery form
here and see if you are able to change the e-mail associated with the account. If not, then you'll need to
contact the Microsoft Account team to see if they are able to help you.

In the future... never delete an e-mail account that's attached to other things like a gamertag. It makes it extremely hard to get anything done if you do that.
