Xbox live account isn’t signing me into on Xbox

About this error message you are getting, do you somehow have a 2FA or 2 step verification enabled on your Microsoft Xbox account? As for the Xbox 360 device, you wouldn't be able to sign in if this is enabled as you will need to disable it or create an app password to be able to login.

In addition to that, your password should be less than 16 characters in order to signin on the Xbox 360 console as it wouldn't accept password more than 16 characters.

You may manage your 2FA via https://account.microsoft.com/security page by going to "Advanced security option"

I can choose the sign in button but my account isn’t on the 360 emulator (because a possible solution was to remove the profile off of the xbox one and 360 emulator) so it directs me to download a profile. when this problem first started happening my
account was on the 360 emulator but if I chose to sign in it would say it couldn’t connect to Xbox live so it couldn’t sign me into my profile.

So how will I be able to recover a non Xbox live account from Xbox 360? All I want is to put one of my 360 accounts to the Xbox one but it isn’t signed up on Xbox live so it’s quite literally impossible unless there’s some other way I haven’t heard of..

If you’re receiving this error code when trying to sign in with a child account, it may mean that the child account isn’t a member of your family.

Child accounts that aren’t members of a family won’t be able to use the Xbox Live service until they’ve been added to a family. To verify whether the child account is a member of your family, sign in to your Microsoft account and see if the child’s
account is listed on the Your family page.
