Recently i let my buddy on my account and he has a computer and he added gamerscore to my account and i dont want to be banned and i need help from xbox

Am I being paranoid?

Basically I have this fear that one day I will lose my Xbox Live account forever - aka, get permanently banned or have an extraneous situation occur where I will no longer be able to access my account.

I never use my microphone, and I have my Xbox settings on friends only. I've accumulated an ass ton of gamerscore too over the years.

...So yeah, am I just being a paranoid freak? I have this irrational fear that I will, one day lose my Xbox Live account and everything I had worked on it.

Does anyone else have this fear? About losing an account forever?

Why a forced gamerscore reset is imposed. A gamerscore reset is imposed on a player's Xbox LIVE account when he or she gains achievements in a game through external tools and by avoiding gameplay. Xbox LIVE is committed to keeping the service free of this
type of behavior, as it violates the Xbox LIVE Terms of Use. When abnormal achievement or gamerscore activity is found, Xbox LIVE modifies the gamerscore of players who meet specific and automated criteria.

An Xbox LIVE player who obtains his or her gamerscore in a fraudulent way will:

◦Find his or her gamerscore reset to zero.

◦Be unable to regain all previously earned achievements.

◦Be labeled as a “cheater” for the community to view.

Although players who are identified by these criteria will start from a zero gamerscore, they will still be able to gain achievements for future games. In other words, Xbox LIVE gives these players another chance to earn future achievements by earning them
as other “fair” players do.

The original gamerscore reset is permanent; there is no appeal.

Sorry, but there is nothing that can be done. It's a violation of the code of conduct to let anyone use your account as well.

you won't get banned but your score WILL be reset to zero and you will not be able to unlock any of those that got reset. you can get score back but only on games you have not played yet and I THINK on games you did not unlock stuff prior to the reset (so
if you had say 30% of a game's achievements unlocked, and it gets reset you SHOULD be able to unlock the other 70%). if you get modded a 2nd time THEN you get banned sorry.

When you take a look at that xbox live account. Wwhat about the gamerscore/achievements. Does it show a different gamerscore and achievements then supposed to be on your account?

So not only the gamertag is wrong but also the gamerscore etc?

It is almost impossible to hack an Xbox account unless they have your email and password. Just in case, I would rest your password but it is unlikely your account was hacked.
