    Hello I'd like to develop a bot for minecraft bedrock servers. Since it's required that the bot logs in, how do I obtain a microsoft account for my bot to login?

    why is it needed? bedrock doesn't have a chat redirect to discord: it's a thing very important for servers... still vanilla bds doesn't support it. It has a command /connect that includes a websocket.... which is bugged and works only in single worlds... the but has been reported from a couple of years now, and nothing has been done to fix it.

    In conclusion, the only way to have bedrock <-> discord chat (without using unofficial software) is through bots... but bots need a xbox-live account in order to be able to join a server... so How do I create a microsoft account for my bot? (a random mincrsoft account would probably be illegal - false name/surname - and anyway gets blocked from microsoft after a while.

    you have to create the xbox live account on the actual console, bot the website, to qualify for the month trial.

    Unfortunately that isn't an option as it would violate Microsoft TOS. To my knowledge an Xbox Live account can only be used by humans.

    Hmm, yes I see... indeed I had imagined that registering an xboxlive account for a bot could be illegal. But what I’m asking is if Microsoft could provide an Xbox account for this very purpose... or some login that I can use to log into servers. Does Microsoft not release such credentials for like developers?

    Block and report them.

    Whats happening is that when people are making spammy bot accounts with Microsoft emails, they are also being given a random gamertag.

    So the bots are not only spamming emails, but Xbox Live accounts too.

    Just make sure you block and report the accounts, and enforcement will take care of it.
