XBox Live account deleted due to inactivity but Microsoft still taking payments on my...

your category/topic until you do although most billing options usually have those. Billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually always work for me.

I also checked another website to see when exactly they were last active on Xbox and it’s says 8 years ago, but I’m assuming that purchases have been made on the account so the Microsoft account wouldn’t have been deleted after 5 years but the account is inactive on Xbox meaning it should have been deleted after 2 years due to Microsoft’s inactivity policy. Except the account is still there, w leads to my next question. How do I get Microsoft to directly free up this gamer tag?

With that is there anyway for me to reactivate a deleted Microsoft account, especially since I wasn't the one to delete that account. It got deleted due to inactivity apparently and I never received an email about it.

Not to mention because my account classes as suspended from a payment being due. however I can't change my payment method because of the fact there is a payment due but the card it wants to use (my old one) no longer exists.

And because there is balance due on a suspended account I can't add xbox subscription time and to top it off I still have to use parental *** because I can't change my account to adult until my Xbox Live subscription is fixed.

*** microsoft a massive *** I will most certainly not be purchasing anymore xbox or other microsoft consoles.

Once the account is deleted due to inactivity, there is no way to recover. You will need to create another Microsoft account and purchase the game with this new account.
