Xbox live account corruption

Just wondering due to my 360 gamertag corruption, when is an account 'bricked' as I have forgotten all details apart from the email account which I also cannot gain access to. I believe my account is now unusable.

Would I be correct in saying this?

Ignore him bob. He mostly just spreads hate that has to do anything with DICE/BF3.

Well it's not necceacerly the campaign part I really don't play game for the campaign I get games for the multiplayer so I'll probably just delete my chach and delete my profile again and redownload the the patches and the store add on packs and I'll see
if it works thanks for your guyses help I really appreciate it

Hi there, the first thing you can do is try and use this tool here:
support.xbox.commy-account/.../forgot-microsoft-account-solution

If you have no luck recovering it that way then if you've got billing information on there, like a debit or credit card, you might be able to contact phone support and prove you own the account through the billing information and they might be able to reset
the email: support.xbox.com/contact-us

I tried the website and all I got was "This page cannot be displayed" on ie. I cant change any settings through my xbox either due to corruption.

Thanks though, unfortunately I also have no billing info on this account.

Sorry mate, I always take the region information out and I took a bit too much out, though I didn't even need to do it because we're both in Australia, try this:"

support.xbox.com/.../forgot-microsoft-account-solution

That's a shame about the billing information, maybe if you at least know the email that was on there they might be able to help, it's always worth the call.

I am well aware it's quite a long post, but it'd be easier if people read the entire post before replying, or just didn't reply!

I will need to do a license transfer, and that's really very easy, but as above said, not even remotely connected to my problem!

As for a couple of the above saying delete and recover account - again, if you'd read my post you'd realise deleting and recovering my account is not possible!

I appreciate you may be trying to help but still, I wish people would read the full post.

But that should only happen if the user clicks sign up rather than sign in on here though, unless there's a bug I'm not aware of.

Hi,

Try to clear your system cache, turn off the console and then turn it back on, finally attempt to delete the corrupted profile.

See if that makes any sort of difference in getting rid of the corrupted profile.
