Xbox live account banned for. Buying selling game items for money

hi I recently was informed in my Xbox account that my live account was banned for violations of the code of conduct / terms of service

From the detail provided it was for buying items from friends quitting the game and reselling the stuff to other friends

Admitted this in my request for appeal and noted that I hadn't actually read the terms of service code of conduct before and didn't know it wasn't allowed

When I appealed it just said decision upheld

I spend hundreds of dollars in Xbox live and in game purchases and games and because I didn't know this wasn't allowed?

If I buy disks I can sell them to friends or controllers why not in game items. I didn't know this wasn't allowed they also paid real money to Xbox to buy things

Seems unfair to be permanently banned without a warning for something like this

SELLING XBOX LIVE ACCOUNT

The buying & selling of xbox live accounts is strictly against the ToU/CoC & will result in the account being permanently banned.

Buying or selling Xbox Accounts is against the Terms of Use and will result in the gamertag and possible the console being banned.

Don't do it. There are better ways for you to throw money out the window.

 

The enforcement team are the only ones who handle suspensions/bans. If they upheld their decision, there is nothing else you can do.

 

You had to agree to the terms when you created your Xbox Live account. The terms were your warning.

 

not to mention selling game items is a violation of the terms of use for most games except for ones specifically designed for it like world of warcraft real money auction house

Though they did closeted diablo 3 one

But no console.allows this only blizzard does and it's heavily regulated

You cannot use your account for making money or commercial uses
