    Xbox live account and Minecraft


    A few months ago I deleted my Xbox live account so I could make a new one. And I did. But when I log into minecraft, even after its been deleted, my old gamer tag is what what I see, and I always have log into my new account. When I do this, all my new worlds
    I made with this new account have been deleted as if Xbox doesn't save them. I have the latest version of minecraft, and I uninstalled and reinstalled more times than I can count. I'm very upset at this point and don't know how to fix this problem.

    Solution to the problem with your account used in Windows 10:

    • Search the '' Xbox Identity Provider '' application in the Microsoft Store;

    • Verify that the app is installed and up-to-date;

    • If persist in making the app error, create a new user account on the computer.

    • Download Minecraft

    • Sign in to app Xbox with the account you used to purchase Minecraft

    • Log in to Minecraft and access Xbox Live through the game.

    • Sign out of your new account, sign in to your account and sign in and play on Xbox Live.

    I do not understand why Minecraft has to have Xbox live, Microsoft and mojang just to play the game.
    HI,

    Minecraft needs a Xbox Live account and running subscription as its a ONLINE game. You need the Microsoft account as Xbox Live is a Microsoft gaming platform and you need to sign in with your Microsoft account for access to your games , etc.
