Xbox live account and also a generic account

Morning everyone. Here is my issue. I have a xbox one live account with email A and password. For some reason, I was issued a generic account from xbox live when I forgot my account info a while back using email B and password. So now I have 2 accounts.
Both accounts have different games and saves on them. How do I go about removing the generic account from my xbox live and just go back to using my original account, while keeping games bought and downloaded from generic account?

Xbox is telling me to get Gold even though I have it?

Another way to attempt to fix this, is to remove the account from the xbox in settings->accounts-> remove accounts. After that is removed login with that gametag again to force the console to fetch your live subscription data. In rare cases your Xbox account and live account will lose sync.

In my opinion the only solution to your issue is to use the home setting for gamesharing among accounts. For more info:

Only applies to profiles with randomly generated names also only within 30 days of creating an new xbox live account not preexisting accounts

Yes, but in order to do that you may need to download that profile to the 360 console first, which will require a 30 day wait time before you can actually move that xbox live account to a different Microsoft Account.

Also be aware that you don't want to use the PC while moving accounts around, since using the windows 8 device could generated a new xbox live account if none is present

But if my current Windows Live account is linked to this generic "User1234567" Xbox live account they made for me, won't it still be linked to that Xbox Live account when I go to re-set Windows 8 to a Windows Live login instead of a local login?

What I need to know how to do is de-link this Xbox Live account from my Windows Live account and re-link a different Xbox Live account to it instead.

Yes, that is my original tag. The Enforcement generated tag is gone from XBOX account log in purposes, but not from my Xbox live account
