Xbox Live Account - 1 GamerTag Will Not Let Us Play It Is Locked Somehow

Hello this feature should be working now when you reported this issue there was a problem at xbox live all services are working like normal now

each gamertag has its own account so you would need to sign in with that account that has the problem to fix it.

if you have only just created that account it may be easier to delete it and start a new one.

you won't be able to use the email address that is linked to the "broken" gamertag though.

1 lets see ms points are region locked to the region they were purchased in so US ms points can only be redeemed on a US gamertag so canadian ms points will not work on a US account

2nd generally you want to match your physical region with your account region

this avoids problems like region locked content

there is too many games to list that have that

for example us blackops dlc cannot be purchased in canada

3rd no the windows live id region does not affect the gamertag region

at this time there is no migration option to canada or the us

So if I have 2 Xbox Live accounts on 1 console can I play my games on both accounts or will the games be locked to 1 profile?
