XBOX Live Accesibility Problem

I have received 831188FE error code upon signing in to the XBOX live . For the first time, the system asked me to confirm my username and password, it briefly let me to connect XBOX live then just 3-4
seconds later it kicked me out of the the XBOX Live.

My live id is wehrmachtuber. I use an XBOX 360 E.

So far XBOX technical support could not find a solution in this regard. I spent almost 2 hours explaining my problem to the XBOX Support tech guy named Bryan and performing troubleshoot steps. Finally,
they have only confirmed that there isn't any restriction or ban on my account. That is correct because I can log in to my Microsoft account without a problem. My case number at the XBOX Support Database is [Mod Removed-Personal Support Request #]

I also performed XBOX Live connection test. Results indicate a service alert which is not published on XBOX.com Support Website.

On the other hand, almost 2 weeks ago, while playing online COD Modern Warfare 3, I ran into some cheaters where they were playing without gravity with unlimited ammo etc. and along with some other players
they raised my rank from 30 to 80 against my will. I believe the problem is somewhat linked to this incident.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Thank you. Your suggestions solved my problem. I reinstalled the latest firmware. At first, my console could not connect to the XBOX live service to download it. So I had to use a USB flash drive to manually make the update.

I know it's a simple request but have you restarted your network hardware (router/modem) and re-start them after 5 minutes?

I suggest rolling back the update and re-downloading the most recent system update and restarting your network:

To reinstall the latest Xbox 360 update, follow these steps:

Clear the system cache. To do this, see the "Clear the system cache" section above.
Roll back and then reinstall system updates. To do this:
1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
2. Go to settings and select System.
3. Select Storage.
4. Enter the following button sequence: X, LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X.
5. Select the option to roll back all system updates that are installed. The console will restart automatically and then download the updates again.
Reset your network hardware. Here's how:
1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.
2. Turn off your Xbox 360 console by pressing the power button on the front of the console.
3. Wait 5 minutes.
4. If you're using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.
5. Plug in the rest of your hardware and try to connect to Xbox Live.

Try to remove your account, clear your console cache, restart the console and download your account again.
