    Xbox live 360 and one settings for online friends


    We allow my daughter to play adult games...this isn't the issue though...the issue is we want to control who she has as friends on her xboxes and who she speaks to when online as well as may be a Web block for her xboxes..please can anyone help and give
    us a step by step on how to do it. Thanks

    Can't Send Friend Requests on Child Account

    Because it is a child's account, you may need to enable friend requests in the online safety settings.

    You can find some instructions for accessing the account settings here:

    im kinda annoyed now iv noticed it tells u when ur xbox one friends are online but not ur 360 friends but heck i can live with that

    It seems friend notifications only work if your friends connect to xbox live on xbox one. They do not work if your friends sign in on xbox 360. This is disappointing. I dont receive notifications for xbox 360 friends and yes i have my preferences set to
    all friends.

    If you're playing on the Xbox One and your account is set as Home on the console your friend can share the membership and play online.

    If you're playing the 360 version then your friend will need to have his own Gold membership.

    Xbox One games cannot be played with Xbox 360 versions of the game as they are incompatible.
