Xbox live 360 account

So here's the story. Long time ago I used to have a Xbox one s. I have a xbox 360 account on it. I was able to play 360 games on it with no problems, but bad luck has came upon me and someone has stolen my Xbox one s. Fast forward 1 year, and I just recently
bought a new Xbox one s again from a pawn store. This Xbox one s had someone else's Xbox one s account and xbox 360 account on it. I went ahead and removed the Xbox one s account from it and left that persons old xbox 360 account for I dont know how to remove
it, I put my old account that I had in my stolen Xbox one s. I gotten some Xbox 360 games on it now and in order to play those games I have to downlaod my Xbox 360 account that I have, but for some reason it tells me that my password is incorrect when I clearly
know that my password is correct. I have to tried to figure out the problem through the XBox 360 guide to a lost password, but it just kicks me out of the game and goes back to the main screen of the Xbox one s and nothing happens futher more. Knowing that
I just bought alot of Xbox 360 games, I can't play them what so ever. I need help with this problem.

360 and One on same gold account

If I sign in to Xbox Live on my Xbox One, will I also be able to sign in on the same account on my 360 at the same time? Say someone is using the Xbox One in the living room and I'm playing my 360 in my bedroom. Will I be able to use the same account?


WHITTEN: Yes this works! You'll be able to be signed on with the same gamertag on both an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One console at the same time. However, like today, you can only be signed into one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One at a time

I just did this today with my offline partners profile which was on my own Gold account (360 )

You need to use a 24hr, 2 day, 7day pass and create an xbox live account for each of them, then port them across

Since your Xbox is second hand please do a factory reset Reset Xbox One Console to Factory Defaults

Then sign into your Xbox One and open an Xbox 360 game this will automatically sign you in.

 

Hi! Like mentioned you should perform a hard reset/power cycle. Besides that, have you tried to sign in with any other Xbox 360 account in order to test if that works? You can open the Xbox 360 guide on your Xbox One by pressing the back-/select-button and
start-/menu-button on your controller at the same time.
