    Xbox live 30$ gift card says not valid


    Not sure where to post this but I bought a three pack of ten dollar gift cards from GameStop the other day and got home to find out they were all "invalid" I tried all three andthe gGameStop clerk said to contact M.S. support to have them redeemed,since
    they can't reactivate them or refund the purchase,any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    Do you get an 8 digit error code when you attempt to redeem them on the console? If so please post it here.

    It is possible that the cards were not activated at the point of purchase. If this is the case you should take them back to the store with a copy of your receipt and have them activate the codes.

    However, the 8 digit code you post here should let us know exactly what is happening.

    I called GameStop and they said since I scratched the codes off they can't do anything,I was hoping someone here would know.

    Whether or not you scratched the card should not matter if you have the receipt. Don't call them, take the card in with the receipt and let them know the card was not activated at purchase. Ask them how you're supposed to know whether it was activated
    or not if you cannot try the code.

    To add onto onyx62is' post, I would also contact our chat or phone support agents through our Contact Us page so they can look up the codes for you. That would help verify whether or not the codes were activated
    properly.
