Xbox live 30-day trial not working!!

I'm trying to create a new xbox live account and use my 30-day free trial but i keep receiving an error code 8c10007.

Customer service representative, Hunter, told me to post this. I am expecting a call back or an email.

I can not set up live at all. We received a 30 day free trial. And can not access …can not figure out how to set up…console is working.

First of all just to let you know you won't get a call or email as this is a forms page made up of gamers and people who just know a good bit about xbox. So these reply's are all the support that can be offered here I'm afraid.

First of all I looked for you error code and I could find nothing so here's a few things that could be going wrong.

-Make sure you are using a valid credit card with a current balance on it as the system can take out like 1 pound or euro depending on your country to test that it is a real credit card. It can be pay pal either but either way you need to attach a payment
instrument to take the free 30 day trail.

- Make sure you new account is the same region as your in

-Make sure your security proofs are all up to date as in 1 phone number and 1 email.

-Make sure this "new account" is just that, it has to be new it can not have been on xbox live as a free member and then refused the free trail, once you refuse it on an account you never get offered it again.

- you can create an account on an xbox and on xbox.com and get offered the 30 day free trail so try setting up an account on both.

- If you trying to do this on an xbox look to see if you getting any nat error's in your connectivity test, it could be a network issue.

That all failing I hope some one else posts a few other idea's for you mate.

This is an older thread. Can you please create a new one detailing your issue and post the status code that you get as well.

However, more than likely the code will mean that your card was not activated at the store and you'll need to take it back to have them activate it.
