Xbox live 3 month gold won't work

it won't let me redeem the xbox live gold 3 month code i just bought online please help.

Trials are not xbox live gold so your account won't show you as having gold,trials only give you access to some gold features.

If you want a full gold account you would need to buy either a 1 month,3 month or 12 month subscription.

Cloud storage won't work with a 2 day gold trial. Requires at least a full month of Xbox Live Gold.

If you have Gold on the One you also have Gold on the 360 if you log into the console with the account that has Gold. Buy a month of Gold on the One and use that to load save games into the cloud and access them from the Xbox One. Backward compatible games
won't transfer, they need to be downloaded to Xbox One from within My Games and Apps.

You can buy a 1 month or 3 month subscription here. Or buy them or a 12 month prepaid code through any retailer that sells them.

Microsoft are working on removing the Gold requirement from free-to-play games, so if your son only plays Fortnite, you soon won't need to purchase Gold.

Hi There, are you certain it was 3 months gamepass ultimate and not just gamepass or Xbox Llive Gold? If you convert 3 months of gamepass or Xbox Live gold to ultimate it is only 2 months of ultimate and not 3.
