Xbox Live 24 Hour Communication Ban?! First time ever with no specific reason

Never have I ever in all my many years of having Xbox live since, what, 2004-2005, have I ever been banned then today 02-10-16 I get a message saying I have a communications ban?! I think I've been a loyal enough, spent money on games an services and this
is outrageous. Furthermore was I not given any specifics, as to why I received this nonsense. I get told off more than I do to others, my rep has always been good, when I game I'm usually always in a party chat with friends, if I'm on game chat I'm just listening
with my awesome turtle beaches. Paying for a service I cannot use, WOW.

What gives Xbox/Microsoft?

I am so upset, just when the new operators for Rainbow Six Siege came out.

I understand where you’re coming from however the Xbox Enforcement Team does not use these forums, if you communicated only with your friends then one of them reported you and it doesn't matter
who started the fight if something was said that break the CoC and was reported, it will be punish accordingly. For information about your account suspensions or bans sign in at this site with your account at https://enforcement.xbox.com



Only an actual person from the Xbox Live Enforcement Team can impose or remove a suspension or ban on the account. - "Despite what some may claim, Xbox Live Policy
& Enforcement Team will never ever ban anyone “for no reason” and the 1st warning is upon making an account with Xbox and reading the CoC which is the first warning so your second warning is a Live suspension, repeated suspension can lead to perma banned depends
on the gravity of the violation. Suspensions always occur as a result of a specific Code of Conduct violation.

Code of conduct violations encompass a number of situations, including, but not limited to:

• Engaging in communications that claim or imply that you are Xbox staff
  
• Having a Gamertag or profile content that contains hate speech or profanity
  
• Using in game exploits to gain an unfair advantage over other players
  
• Hacking, Modding or Cheating

24 Hour Communications Ban

The other day I received notification of a 24 hour coms ban. This stunned me as I only communicate with friends and when I do message someone it doesn't break the code of conduct. What has me more confused is the fact that the person that reported me cussed
me out and received no penalty. Odd considering my account is 8 years old with no priors. Plus I was reported for voice which since I'm always in party chat wouldn't ave any effect on the matter. Would have been nice to receive a warning or something since
I've been a loyal Xbox player for so long, but I guess not. Anyways I just wanted to get some thoughts and opinions on this.

 

Only way to fix this problem is to buy a PlayStation.

If Xbox were serious, they would have a section of Xbox Live that was "Uncharted" or unmonitored and gamers could say whatever they wanted to. They'll never (and could never) pull it off in this politically correct age.

Something is wrong in the world if people get bagged to T-bagging. If you want people to stop doing it, kill them 1st.

 

Being an xbox live member for a certain amount of years does not make you exempt from the rules.

If you were paying attention to what I wrote, I didn't say I was exempt or have immunity to the rules of Xbox Live. I was saying that in all my years of being a member, and having continous gaming history on Xbox Live have I ever had any type of ban/suspension
on my account. I didn't ruin my rep then and I sure haven't now.

That sentence gives the impression you think you should get some sort of special treatment just because you've been on live for a certain amount of time.

You broke the rules,got caught & were punished,i don't see what so outrageous about that.Just because you haven't been caught before does not mean you won't be caught eventually.

Someone has probably reported you this time which is why you were investigated & suspended.

Nothing you can do but wait out the suspension.

I get bad-mouthed more by players in messages than the other way around. I try my best to just let it be.

You also left out the part where I mentioned that I'm always usually in party chat with friends, if not I'm not talking, but listening to others for in game aid.

I didn't violate anything IMO. People get extremely upset while playing Rainbow Six Siege(the game I've been playing most since December) especially when others don't communicate. Perhaps I was victim to that. Lack of communication therefore I get reported.
Perhaps I was a victim to some who didn't like how I played.

That's unfair to others.

Here I am having no idea or proof of what I did. Some proof thrown at me would make me feel more at ease. Wouldn't you agree?

You know what's hilarious? Yesterday I accidently killed a teammate, by throwing a grenade at an enemy and he ran toward it. The funny part about it is not that I team killed, but rather that I couldn't message the poor fellow and apologize BECAUSE I had
a communications ban.

 

You were most likely suspended for something you did months ago as all reports have to be investigated before any action is carried out.

No doubt is was for a message you sent to someone,that's usually the case.

You wont get suspended for lack of communication,quite the opposite in fact.

You can carry on posting here as much as you like,it won't change your suspension.

Because there could not even be a remote chance that he won a lot and a group of friends teamed up on him to report him for being jealous of the performance(s).

Just continue to live out your righteous life on these forums like you know everything. So sad.

 

Doesn't matter how many reports are filed against a person.If that person has done nothing wrong then they wont get suspended or banned.

Not once have I ever claimed to know everything but I do know how enforcement on xbox live works.

Maybe you should do a bit of research before accusing me of something.
