Xbox live 2 consoles at 2 separate houses.

Hi,

I am looking at getting a second xbox one for my children to play at their grandparents house.

We subscribe to live gold so they can play minecraft and the likes online. We have family set up with my son using the main profile and daughter the second so they can play online via tablets etc...

If I were to purchase a second console could I have the same profile on two xboxs at two locations without any issues?

Hello DrNebby,

Yes, you can have both profiles at two different consoles, but you won't be able to play with the same user at the same time.

So if you are at your home and your kids at their grandparents and you try to use the same user at the same time, one of you will be logged out.

Question currently i have 2 xbox ones in the house only one console can be a family set up to share game pass and live with the family.

When I get the series X will this allow me to set the X and the one as 2 separate family devices?

it will let us play on 2 separate xboxs in same house but not on the same xbox
