Xbox live 14 day trial not working please help

Er...my question is that a 'xbox game pass ultimate 14 days trial codes' could be used/sold as 'xbox game pass 14 days trial code' or 'xbox gold live 14 days trial code', right?

I understand that a xbox game pass 14 days trial code or a xbox live gold 14 days trial code can't be used/sold as xbox game pass ultimate 14 days trial code for sure.

Because a 'xbox games pass ultimate 14 days trial code' equals a 'xbox game pass 14 days trial code + xbox live gold 14 days trial code', so for new Microsoft/Xbox accounts, a 'xbox game pass ultimate 14 days trial codes' could be used/sold as 'xbox game
pass 14 days trial code' or 'xbox gold live 14 days trial code' , right?

Please help to clarify.

ah i see now thanks lol i was trying to play destiny but didnt realize u couldnt use trial memberships

14day trials do not change your status to gold

You remain a free account and can only use non ranked features of the game

Games like destiny require actual gold since everything is ranked in it

Your best bet is to use the game that you got the code with as they usually are game specific

Trials do not change your account status to gold. They only give you access to some benefits of online multiplayer. If you're trying to play Destiny, you do need a full gold subscription in order to play.

If it's a 14 day free trial, it wont work if you've had Xbox live before with that account.
