xbox live 14 day trial not working on xbox one

hi,my xbox live membership ran out today on xbox one (I bought it on the 360) now i try to use the xbox live 14 day free trial i got with my xbox one and it says you already have a xbox live gold membership (but I haven't it ran out today). now is this
because i have already used an xbox live trial or what?

14 day Live Gold trial code not working

Y'day I purchased new XBox One. With this I got 14 day Live Gold trial code. But its not working it always says its already redeemed.

Can some one help me on this?

Dutch retailers are mentioning a 14 day Xbox live trial included in the Day one edition.

 

According to your profile you've got Xbox live your gamer tag is showing as gold

 

I believe that the Xbox Live Gold trials are now aimed at people who have never had Gold.

I think Microsoft learned from the previous generation when people used to horde the trial cards and use them to extend their subs by months.

 

You can still use trials if you've had gold before.

Trials can't be added to an existing gold subscription & you can't stack trials like you can full gold subs.

 

simmilar issue I ran out of gold last week but i just braught a new console so taught I'd use the free 14 days they sent me now im trying to get battlefield and it's only giving me the option to buy all games with gold. is it becuase im on atrial .

I've put a call back in and I've been on hold for 20 mins since they called me back . . lol great call back s3rvice

 

You might want to make your own post instead of bumping a thread from 2016.

Aside from that. You're unable to take advantage of Games with Gold when you're on a trial membership.

 

Ttials do not change your account status to gold. They only give you access to some benefits of online benfits. You should still be able to get Xbox One Games with Gold games since they require a subscription to continue playing for free, but you would need
a full subscription for other games.

Also, its best yo create your own thread instead of bumping an old one.
