Xbox Live 12 months not activating!

Hi.

I bought an Xbox Live Gold code for 12 months +1 bonus, from a local store. The problem is that it isn't activating. When I'm trying to activate it, I enter the code and after confirmation, I get an error:

"Something went wrong

Sorry about that. Give it a try in a while."

I tried it every day (bought three days ago), and still got this problem. Any solutions?? I can't get the services!

It's not used, they unboxed it in front of me, and I scratched the code by myself.

live not activating

Hi, i activated the 12 months redeem code for my xbox one and it's not activating and it's like the third day

600 point promotion still not received

the free 600 point promotion for activating my 12 month card which i used in January still hasn't been received.

Contact Phone Support and see if they can help you out. There may be some billing issues going on.

I have the same problem with two card inserts recieved with xbox one purchases I get an error xbos-3009 checked what that was said I already have a gold acvount which I do not proven by no access to any gold benefitd.

Overdone I would suggest calling phone support as well. For both of you it sounds like there are billing issues going on that are blocking these prepaid cards from going through.

I'll call them later. Does it matter if it's the Romanian number by the way? I am from Romania and I'd prefer to use the local phone number.

I looked more onto it and I just saw that I got the error code "XBOS1005". After I searched on Google, I found here

Okay, so I contacted Microsoft and it seems that my account's country was set up to US and I'm in Romania, so because the codes are region-locked, I have to migrate my account from US to RO in order to get it working.

You can purchase 5 years of Live Gold membership on 5 12 month cards and activate each one as each year expires. Or you can activate 3 12 month cards and have a total of 36 months of maximum subscription and then activate the 2 12 month cards.
