    Just wondering if anyone else has had issues when adding codes for xbox live.

    my sons came up with for 360 however he has an xbox one.

    and it is still asking for us to purchase gold even tho it says he has it in his subscription.

    xbox say it should still work but wont listen when i phoned them yesterday to say it still wants me to buy it because the code said it was for the 360

    Hello

    Xbox Live Gold is cross system compatible so whether you redeem it on pc, Xbox360 or Xbox One it will work on all 3. Did you make sure you redeemed it on your son's Gamertag ?

    Let your son log in with his Microsoft account and then go to this link
    account.microsoft.com/services     It should tell you if you have an Xbox Live gold subscription. If it doesn't (when logged in with your son's account) then you redeemed it on the wrong profile.

    I had the same issue but other than for some reason the it keeps telling me I have 1 day of gold left everything seems to be ship shape.

    Xbox Live. GOLD.

    It works out cheaper to buy a 12 month Xbox Live Gold subscription, than it does to buy 12 one month Xbox Live subscriptions.

    Just something to keep in mind.
