    I couldn't redeem the card either, getting XBOS-3014. I had to turn on auto-renew and update the credit card info, I then turned off auto-renew again and the prepaid card worked.

    Hi same issue except i don't even have a credit card to begin with i've always used prepaid xbox cards. Any idea what to do? or should i try getting refund?

    my issue is solved, the person at the store where i bought the membership card forgot to manually activate it. it happens. hope this helps

    Xbox Live. GOLD.

    It works out cheaper to buy a 12 month Xbox Live Gold subscription, than it does to buy 12 one month Xbox Live subscriptions.

    Just something to keep in mind.
