    i purchased 12 month gold about a week ago and it still showing that i'm not on gold. i just viewed my transaction and it says that it has gone through but it actually hasn't. someone help please?

    You can purchase 5 years of Live Gold membership on 5 12 month cards and activate each one as each year expires. Or you can activate 3 12 month cards and have a total of 36 months of maximum subscription and then activate the 2 12 month cards.

    Are you sure it was a 12 month Ultimate and not 12 months of Gold? As I don't believe there are 12 month Ultimate cards. But if you had an active Ultimate subscription and bought a12 month Gold card, the Gold would have been converted to Ultimate an would have equaled 4 months of Ultimate.
