Xbox Live 12 Month Code Not Working on Xbox One or Xbox.com

Every time I enter it, it shows up as a 12 month code, but then generates an error when I hit confirm

The error screen says:

Something went wrong
Give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering the code below at xbox.com/errorhelp so we can investigate.
And provides this as the error codes (which doesn't come up with anything in the error code look up tool):

Day one 12 months xbox live error

I have tried to activate the day one 2013 12 month xbox live code and its not working.

Nowhere does it say "cannot be added to an existing Xbox Live Gold membership." Like some other codes do.

Extremely frustrating.

I have bought Xbox Live Gold Code for 12 months but the code is not working. I have tried putting it everywhere like on the Console or on the website but its not working. I am a new user and i am having bad experience. Please help me out

Hmmm.. There may be a billing issue, call support to get that one straightened out.. if its not a billing issue.. could be a connection problem.. I doubt its a connection being that it wouldn't work on xbox.com..

Try calling support to check out your billing info

Hello I would like to check if m'y code xbox live 12 months is a xbox live 12 months code pleas . Because it displays a validity of 6 months on the console.

i payed for a code to get 12 months xbox live it worked it said i have gold for 12 months but my live has ran out more than 11 months early? anyone know why?

It works out cheaper to buy a 12 month Xbox Live Gold subscription, than it does to buy 12 one month Xbox Live subscriptions.

Just something to keep in mind.

You can get xbox live by going to your nearest retail location that sells xbox live gold 1,3,or 12 month cards. Then, redeem the code on your xbox, or xbox.com. Or get a credit card and buy it online. You could also wait until a promotional offer comes along
for xbox live.
