    Xbox lights up when I turn it on, dings, lights up then turns off again seconds later?


    My xbox one s will not turn on. I have only had it six months. It rests on my drawer and never moves. Whilst playing it recently, the console just turned off. Since then when I've tried to turn it on...It makes the ding sound... the white light comes on
    as if its going to turn on....a few seconds later it just powers off and the white light turns off.

    I have tried unplugging all the cables then turning it on again but it still won't work.

    I have followed the steps on the troubleshooting instructions via the forums but still won't work!

    Please help this is driving me crazy!

    Turns on then off.

    My xbox turns on then off. After 4 seconds it turns off, after i've turned it on. It also doesn't light up when i turn it on. Help me please, I don't want to go through the hassle to send it back...

    Weird happenstance with the WNA

    I have the original Xbox 360, and I have my wireless network adapter, my router and connection all set up and it worked flawlessly connecting to Xbox Live just fine until yesterday.

    Now this is what happened, the console got disconnected two seconds after connecting to Xbox live. I look to the back of the console and the green light is off. I turn off the console, turn it on again. The wna doesn't light up at all.

    Then I turn off the console, unplug the wna, wait a little, plug it in again, and turn on the console. The wma lights up green, flashes a few time, goes solid green, right until the connection message pops up, I stay connected for two seconds, and then I
    get disconnected again and the wma’s light is off too.

    I’m not sure where to start troubleshooting this.

    because when I plug in another power cable, it makes the small sound ding ding on the button to turn on the console except that it is not turned on when there is sound, then after several handling of the said cable when
    I press the button it lights up white with the sound ding and after 5 seconds it goes out, the problem remains whole I do not know if it's the internal power pack or the cable

    and fan?

    If the monitor is not on a battery-backed UPS outlet, try that first. You should also install whatever monitoring software your UPS came with and see what it's showing when you turn on/off the light and fan.

    Hey OP, that's certainly odd. When the second quadrant lights up, does the first one go dim? Or do they both light up for a short time? Also, is it possible someone in the house is turning on then turning off a controller remotely?

    Yesterday, my headset turned on randomly, as I described above - I had to get far away from my Xbox and Wi-Fi signal to get the linking process to work. Before that, though, it just didn't work - the white diode would light up, stay on for a couple of seconds, and then turn off.

    Now I'm trying to turn it back on - again the white diode lights up, doesn't blink, a couple of seconds of light - and the headset turns off.

    Now my headset has the update 0.0.9.50 - after this update, I started having problems with the device.

    Power supply not lighting up when plugged into Xbox but when not plugged in lights up.

    I also have this problem. I plugged my power supply into my Xbox one and it lights up for a few seconds before the console turns off, only the power supply unit is always lit in orange.

    I tried to light it several times this way and it is the same ride: it lights up for a few seconds before turns off and the power supply unit is always lit in orange.
