    Xbox light won't come on.


    So, I've seen others post this, with no real solutions as to how to fix this. I've had this happen plenty of times, so I know the light isn't broken or burnt out. It happens once a month to two months. No, I have not modified it in any way, and do not need
    continuous explanations on terms of service, as some people have gotten. I'm wanting someone to try to help find a solution. No, I cannot connect a controller. Yes, the xbox 360 does start up, and no, it will not sync the controller. Typically, I
    only have to plus the power cord into a different area, but now not even that is working.

    Again, please do not give me tips on terms of service. That does not help solve anything, as you're wasting your time telling me about something I've not done, nor plan to do. If I wanted to modify it, I would probably do so using an axe. Yes, I'm fully
    aware that this would break it. I intend to if I cannot get it working properly again, and no, I'm not sending it off to be fixed. In the time it takes for that, I can go buy a new one.

    Xbox light won't come on.

    Obviously there is a hardware fault. If you don't wish to send it in, the do as you stated and just purchase a new one. I don't know what you think the forums can do for faulty hardware. We can't even discuss any kind of self repair here in the forums
    as it is against the forum rules. Good luck!

    The cable will keep my Xbox one s controller active but the light won't come on and it isn't charging.

    It sounds to me like the controller needs some kind of update to allow the old Xbox one battery.

    Hmmm, if the console will come on but that light just won't behave itself, let's try leaving the console totally powered off and unplugged from any power source for an hour or two. Any good there?

    I have the same problem with my xbox one original. I unplugged the console during one new system updates you get if your signed up for the early updates. And I plugged it back in at a friends and since then it hasn't come back on, it just makes a beeping
