    ok so in the past few hours my original xbox one starting playing up. i was playing train simulator 2020 and i paused it and when i came back the game had crashed and my xbox was on the dashboard. i went to relaunch the game and it would not work so then
    i went to restart my xbox and ever since it has been black screening. roughly 30 minutes ago i booted my xbox one in to safe mode via the eject and sync button and did a factory reset using the "keep saved games" option. it went through all that and then it
    got to the update bit and for the past 30 minutes now its been on a black screen and the xbox power button has been pulsing on and off. does this mean its updating even though nothing is showing on screen?

    Hello anony4life!

    Do you currently have your Xbox plugged into a power strip or directly into the wall electrical outlet?

    Try unplugging your Xbox from any power source for about 5 mins and then plug it into the wall socket / outlet.

    Let us know if the situation improves.

    You might want to consider replacing the power supply unit since it is the original Xbox one and might have some age to it. We look forward to hearing back from you.

    Dang well that's bad as well but it was orange when I plugged it up initially but then pulsing white light, all that I have read no one claims pulsing either.

    Xbox One won't turn on

    Mine is bricked, no pulsing. Orange light and working fine, then it turned itself off. Orange light when plugged into any socket. No light when connected to xbone.

    saints row 2 and downloading issues

    go to console settings, enable background downloads (continues to download a game when xbox is turned off)

    go to memory and delete saints row 2

    go to download history, start downloading saints row 2

    wait until it reaches 2 or 3%

    turn off xbox (this way the xbox mainly focuses on downloading the game)

    wait until light on xbox to stop pulsing (when the light stops pulsing, it means it is done downloading something)
