Xbox Light On but nothing on screen

Ok so this is hard to explain but I will do my best. So I'm in the preview program of course and I feel as though recent updates are to blame for this bug/problem. So idk if this is how all HD tvs work but on mine if you need to switch inputs of hdmi connected
devices the Chanel won't switch to said hdmi device unless its powered on. With that being said my console has been showing to weird problems and or bugs. when I attempt to power it down it will turn itself back on in about 5-10 mins automatically which never
happened before. But the second and most irritating problem which reverts back to my first statement regarding the way my tv works is the Xbox light on the front of the console will turn on however the kinect doesn't power on. i feel as though it's because
it's not completely on it might be stuck in a type of standby mode. For this reason switching to the hdmi input on my Xbox doesn't work because it doesn't detect the console as being powered on. Occasionally after turning the console on and off while watching
tv on the input channel for the Comcast box it will automatically switch over to the Xbox input and the console will boot as normal. It's not a HUGE problem but ther other day it took me almost and hour to get it to work. Once again sorry if this sounds confusing
it's hard to explain through txt but is anyone else having any problems remotely similar ? and if so any quick fixes ? Hopefully this is a bug caused from the update instead of a malfunction on the console itself

Console won't start???

Hi,

Played Forza 4 just before Lunch. Had Lumch then turned on Xbox, Have flashing Four green lights on controller and Green light on Power button on console But NOTHING on screen and lights just keep flashing on Controller. Tried to start with pressing Xbox
Button on Controller (Normal way for me.) & tried the Power button on Console, No screen either way. The green lights around the power button on Console DON'T rotate like they normally do too.

Tried looking arond but they either think the screen has frozen in game or the Green light Doesn't come on at all...Don't know what to do???

In end started console then went to make a coffee and have a smoke, still nothing by the time I got back, 6+mins

 

The lights are on, but nobody is home. Can anyone help?

When I turn my xbox one on I have the light on the front of the console, but nothing showing on the screen. Also the handset light flashes like it cannot connect. I have checked cables, but I am completely clueless as to what I need to do.

 

Sorry to hear it. However, as you are in the preview program you should post this in the preview forums so the programmers can see it.

Also, be sure to send an error report in from your console by holding the Guide button until the option pops up to leave feedback.
