Seems like you have performed all the necessary steps. For the last resort, we may need to reset the console removing everything. This will uninstall all of your games and apps but you can reinstall them later on.

We need to isolate the issue first. What Xbox console do you have? Do you have Xbox One Original, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, or Xbox Series X|S console?

If the console that you have is not an Xbox One Original please try resetting the internal power supply first.

1. Unplug the mains lead from the console.

2. Wait 10 seconds.

3. Plug the cord back into the console, and then press the Xbox button on the front of the console.

We need to perform troubleshooting steps first. To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Hello thanks for the reply. i have a xbox series s and unfortunately my room is layed out in a way where i can only keep my xbox plugged into a surge protector. My console seems fine and works when i turned it back on. I was just worried there could be a problem with it. Should i still unplug it for 10 seconds even though its fine now?
