Xbox license transfer time

The license transfer will only transfer the licenses to the console you are using at the time. The console licenses can only be on one console at a time and you can only transfer the licenses every 4 months.

The time that you did your last license transfer, will be the time that the option to license transfer will become available again. So yes, if you did your license transfer at 4 pm, that will be the time you'll receive that option.

If you did your transfer after 4pm then that's when the option to transfer should be available again to you.

The license transfer tool will transfer the licenses for all 230 licenses at once. It's just the redownloading that restricted to 30 at a time.



Also, because of different licensing restrictions, licenses for videos cannot be transferred.

Phone support will only perform a license transfer in extreme cases. Phone support is not there to provide license transfers all the time. If you transferred in August and just need to do another transfer, you will have to wait until the 12 month time frame

Of course the transfer time has changed but has policy on the transfers?

In response to the OPs question, have you refreshed the license by downloading the content again? Don't worry about download time, if it is already on your hard drive then all that will be grabbed is the small license file.
