    Xbox licence share.


    Hi there,

    Last weeks my son played a lot of xbox one, after some time he tried to search around and messed with the Xbox home so my other xbox removed all the games that have been bought on the other xbox.

    Is there any option to reset this?, if so it would be nice because i lost many of games.

    Quick edit: by xbox license share i mean Xbox home option.

    A licence transfer? In a nut shell, the licence for anything you purchase (like DLC) is tied to your profile AND console. So, if you purchase something on console # 1, the licence is attached to console # 1, and that means you can use it while offline, and
    share it with everyone else on the console. You can also download it on console # 2, but you can't share it on that one because console # 2 doesn't have the licence. A licence transfer would move the licence from console # 1 to # 2, or vice versa, so you can

    sharing game discs is in the grey area but ok in the mainstream and going to a friends house should be fine aslong as you delete your games and profile of that xbox before leaving, sharing digital content is however, against the rules and copyright laws,
    you purchase a licence for the digital content not the software, break the rules lose your licence to play.
