xbox launcher/app wont install any game

Have you tried using Microsoft Store in installing your games? Because there is a reported known issue regarding Xbox app that is unable to reflect update for some recently released games. Please check here for the updates - Known Issues for Game Launches (November 2021).

Did you encounter any error message while trying to install games or apps on either Xbox app or Microsoft Store? Please post a screenshot, use this as guide, How to include a screenshot in your post.

Here are the steps to determine the NAT Type:

You can check your NAT type in Windows Settings:

1. Press the Windows button on keyboard, or select the Windows icon in the lower-left corner of the main screen.
   
2. Select Settings > Gaming, and then select Xbox Networking.
   
3. Under Xbox Live Multiplayer, check the NAT type.

Suggested Troubleshooting:

Have you tried installing games remotely? This is how it works; your PC should be signed into the correct account on both Microsoft Store and Xbox app and should not be on sleep mode, not offline or shutdown/turn off. Otherwise download will not happen.

On your Xbox console, enable remote features by using same account. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide and go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features. Check the box to enable remote features. For the power mode, select Instant-on.

Note If the power mode isn’t Instant-on, remote features won’t work. This is so installation can start even when you’re not there to turn on the console. Alternative: Giving your console a unique name will help you identify it in your app, especially if you have more than one console.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then go to Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
   
2. Select Name. Enter a name using only letters, numbers, and hyphens.
   
3. Select Restart now.
   

Microsoft Store app on Windows 11, when you own games, use this app to remotely install them on both your Xbox console and the Windows 10/11 device you’re using. Besides the Store app, this can also be done in a web browser.

On the game’s detail page in the Microsoft Store, select more options (“…”), then Install on my devices. Choose your device, then select Install now.

xbox internet type is not an option under my settings

i tried remote installing but nothing happens it just tries to do download on the app ut my pc never tries to download it

1. I am trying to download games on my pc from the xbox app with my game pass subscription

2. I am currently running windows 11 pro version 21H2

3. I have the standard game pass subscription

4. i am trying to download games included on the game pass

5. I was able to install back 4 blood when that came out. I have recently tried installing Halo MCC, Age of Empires and Forza 5 all with no success

6. i am not sure where to find nat information on my pc
