Discus and support XBox Latency. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have been playing the game ARK on an XBOX one S and the longer I progress in the game the more Latency I get.     XBox Latency.


    I have been playing the game ARK on an XBOX one S and the longer I progress in the game the more Latency I get. I know that game can be a bit "Laggy" anyway but I am hoping to figure out what the issue is. I check both my wired and wireless networks
    and they are both solid

    Wireless - 41Mbps Up and 19Mbps down. 4MS pip

    Wired - 77Mbps up and 38 Mbps down - 7MS pip

    Im not sure if the xbox is the problem or the game is? Any help would be appreciated!

    the xbox one latency issues are quite obvious with the current results im seeing posted. Hopefully this is patched soon but people want to be mainly around 80ms on latency or lower...next gen with old original xbox latency...nice.

    The dashboard latency test is meaningless. It has nothing to do with your gaming experience. You will not be playing games connected to the latency test server.

    The Xbox does not control your latency. Latency is purely determined by the location of the game server you are connecting to, and the route it takes to get there.

    Try to play on servers in your own region if you are worried about latency.

    how does one get service or talk to a human regarding xbox. Tried all available online options and get nowhere.

    Wired connection on xbox 1 high latency in 90's. new modem DLspeeds 500mb. When playin on cloud on a mac same wired connection latency is 15-20. Xbox one is specifically were the latency is occurring. need help.

    Latency on xbox series s is a lot more than on the laptop

    I mostly play halo infinate and the latency on that too reaches 150 ms.

    The sole reason I have been trying to reduce the latency on xbox for a month is the unplayable level of latency on halo infinate.
