    Xbox kinect NOT working.


    Literally, just two to three days ago my entire xbox 360 system and everything attached to it, worked fine. After struggling to beat a boss on Final Fantasy XIII, I put it down for a while. Now today I try starting It up and guess what, it didn't WORK.
    My xbox console lit up like it should; however, the kinect wouldn't turn on and the darn media wouldn't show up whatsoever. My remote even acted funny which didn't surprise me as my kinect wasnt working! Now, I'd reaaally LOVE to get back to gaming...so please
    explain to me this sudden problem!?

    Kinect types and versions

    As far as i am aware there is kinect for xbox 360 and kinect for xbox one. I refer to mine as a day one kinect for xbone and assume others refer to v2 as kinect for xbox one rather than 360. Afaik the original kinect released with xbone is the current version

    Are you using the Xbox 360 with Kinect, or do you have an Xbox One with Kinect 2?

    Also do you have an original Xbox One with Kinect directly connected to the console, or a Xbox One S or X with a separate Kinect Adapter to connect Kinect to your S or X console?

    If you have an external Kinect adapter for S or X consoles, what color is the light on the adapter?

    For you Kinect supporters, Why must the kinect be connected to the xbox one at all times for the developers to utilize the full benefits of the kinect? why cant they utilize the full benefits of the kinect while it is not connected to the xbox one?.

    The reasoning or the suggestion of the kinect having to be connected to the xbox one at all times while the xbox one is on so the developers can fully utilize the full benfits of the kinect falls flat on it's backside.

    There is no logic or reasonable thinking nor is there an anwser you Kinect supporters have said.
