Xbox Kinect no longer works!

    Xbox Kinect no longer works!


    I just bought a new Kinect from the store a few months. Got home tonight and my Kinect indicated it had no power. I've tried every troubleshooting step in the book and still nothing. I refuse to pay for another one and would like a replacement!

    Kinect channel change no longer works

    Bump, same issue happening to me. Exact same symptoms, channel is entered but no "okay" command is sent.

    For the QIP-7100 P1, can you go into TV & OneGuide settings -> Device control -> Cable/sat box -> enter a remote code and try these out?

    Sounds like the update bricked your kinect too

    Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't noticed this yet! I've done factory resets as well.

    I had this a year ago, when I first bought the xbox one. Ended up exchanging the entire setup because it could be the Kinect, the console or both.

    As the Kinect is no longer made or supported I would just recommend tossing the Kinect. The Console will work fine without it.
