    Xbox Kinect 360 not working No light on device


    I am trying to get my xbox 360 kinnect to work. The light for the kinect is not coming on. The cable light is green that is connected from the Xbox to the connect device to the power supply. When I put in a kinnect game my xbox is giving me an error saying
    "This game requires a Kinect Sensor. Plug your sensor into the back of your console. If you don't have one, select Exit game to return to the Xbox dashboard." I then checked under settings and the kinect is not highlighted for me to select. I click on
    system and under kinect settings and it is saying the sensor is disconnected. What do you I need to do to fix this error? I bought a 2nd kinect sensor and I am still have the same issue.

    Flashing green light on Kinect from Xbox 360 when used on Windows 7 computer

    I am attempting to use a Kinect from a Xbox 360 on my windows 7 laptop so I can do 3d scans for 3d printing. I am not that familiar with Xbox so I am not familiar with any or all of the light codes. I downloaded and installed the SDK drivers and then connected
    the Kinect with the power supply that I also purchased to use with the Kinect. I have a solid green light on the power supply but a flashing green light on the Kinect. When I fire up the software, it does not see the Kinect so I have to assume the Kinect is
    not working properly. The Kinect I purchased is used (but guaranteed) so I do not know if it is working correctly. What does the flashing green light mean when it is not connected to a console (instead it is connected to a laptop)and is there a way to test
    to see if the Kinect is working correctly? Thank you in advance for you help

    Sorry to hear about the issues. Take a look at this
    Kinect Error Message Guide     and follow the steps provided and see if that helps. If that doesn't work, your Kinect Sensor may be in need of repair and that process is handled through the
    Online Service Center.

    I am a member of the Xbox Alpha Ring. I always used my Kinect to turn my Xbox on with a voice command so I know when the Kinect is working. On the day of the last Alpha Update (the one before today's June 17th update) I KNOW my Kinect was working. The
    next morning I went to start my Xbox with a voice command and it did not work. The Kinect's white panel light cycles off and on about every 5 seconds. I went to the Xbox One's Kinect Setup page. When the Kinect's light is on, the "Kinect and Devices" page
    says "Kinect on". When the light cycles off the message changes to "There is a problem with Kinect. Hold the power button for a few seconds to turn it completely off. If that doesn't work go to www.xbox/xboxone/kinectsupport". If you go to that web page
    it is blank with a Microsoft message telling you to try again. The timing of the failure and the blank Kinect support page would suggest that Microsoft has once again abandoned its hardware users. I assume they want us to buy a Google Alexa.

    The 360 Kinect games cannot work with the Xbox One. They need the 360 device because it sees the world very differently from Xbox One, and thats what they’re programmed for.

    It does not work with 360, nor can it play 360 Kinect games. Kinect games mudt be tuned to a very specific device to work properly, and they are very different
