    Xbox keeps turning of unexpectedly


    For the last couple of days my Xbox has been turning off after using it for about 20 minutes. I bought a new power chord in America, which I am using in Europe now. Might that be part of the problem?

    Hey Taylor!

    I'd just like to add that we do have pages with troubleshooting information regarding your console turning off unexpectedly or not how it's supposed to.

    If I were you, I'd check the articles either entitled
    Troubleshoot Xbox One unexpectedly turning off     for the Xbox one or
    Xbox 360 console turns off unexpectedly     for the Xbox 360.

    Look that over and let us know if that information helped you out with the issue

    Consoles will turn off when they are overheated. Make sure you clean out the venting ports and keep your Xbox in a well ventilated location. You can check out the support page for
