Xbox keeps shutting off by itself after turning it on

Every time I turn on my Xbox and try to play a game it shuts off like every two minutes and when I turn it back on and says I have a sufficient ventilation problem andI’m scared to open the Xbox to clean the vents because I’m scared I might break it i
need help on how to fix this without breaking the xbox cause i wanna be a gammer

The only thing that has happened to me is that the Xbox for some strange reason but after connecting and disconnecting it

If the Xbox is an X or S the side vents may be clogged with dust.

While its powered OFF to cool it, get a vacuum cleaner without attachment and vacuum both sides of the console, which will allow airflow again.

With a black console you will see how much dust accumulation there is as you clean those little holes.

Don’t open it. That will prevent Microsoft from repairing it should that be necessary. Try using compressed air to blow ant dust and debris free.

The thing is that the Ventilation fan is not working I think cause the Xbox is silent it doesnt make a loud noise and after it turns off by its self i touch the xbox and its SUPER hot i dont think compressed air would work

I prefer to suck any dust out of the vents than to blow it into the console. Just take your time and clean every ventilation hole. It doesn't take long with powerful suction.

I did mine the other day.

If that doesn't fix the overheating issue, don't be tempted to open the console, or you'll void any repairs that may be required, seeing how the console was SUPER hot.
