Xbox keeps returning to home page

first thing I would advise is to try a Power cycle

Please press and hold the power button on the console for at least 10 seconds until you hear the console powering down. Wait until the light on the power supply turns and remains orange, if the light is orange for at least 30 seconds power the console on
again.

Sorry to hear you are having this issue, does this happen on multiple profiles? If it is just one, please try removing that profile and re adding it. Also the problem could be a stuck trigger on the controller, please attempt to use a different controller
if possible.

Performing a hard rest on your console, also known as a power cycle or full reboot, cold restart can help fix this any of this issues.

To perform a hard restart, hold the power button on your Xbox console for 10 seconds while your console is on. This will power down Your console. When the 10 seconds period is over press the power button to power up you console again, And the green start
up screen will display.

Your cache would be cleared, Some of your setting would be reverted, But your data are preserved, and all your issues should be resolved.

Hey, I suggest looking at your display settings and seeing if the issue only happens at 4K. If so then I recommend playing around with your TV settings and/or your Xbox display settings to try and find if that's the source of the issue. I'm guessing you
have already done it but making sure your TV is in game mode and isn't trying to enhance the picture will also help.
