    Hello. Not so recently I've decided to make a post about this but 3 months ago I purchased gold and although I love the features and free games for gold, there is just 1 little problem. I always get the free games because generally they're good and they're
    free, but I've noticed that they keep stopping. While watching youtube or playing other games there is constant spam saying "Your [insert game name here] download has stopped" and then I have to go into active downloads, watch xbox tell me I need 7 GB of free
    space and that currently in my hard drive I have 210 GB of space so I have to delete stuff and make room. Personally I don't mind much but it's annoying me because I'm running out of things to delete. When I first got my xbox I have not encountered this problem,
    so the first time this happened I could just delete like a title update or banner or picture or something that took up 7 KB and my game download would start again, but now I only have a few major updates and games I like left. I'm simply running out of spam
    to delete just to get my download started. Please, anyone help. I doubt I'm running out of space as I could delete like a picture 1 KB then my download would start again. It's annoying and now it's starting to *** me off.

    Can't get an Xbox update on my Xbox 360 s console because I don't have "a storage device with 190MB"

    every time I go on my Xbox 360 it says that a system update is available for Xbox live. Do you want to apply the update? I always click yes but then it keeps telling me that I don't have a storage device with at least 190 MB of space even though I DO have
    one. Then my storage goes "unformatted" And I ALWAYS delete the format and system cache but it never does anything, I keep doing what it asks me to do. I had to delete all my saved data for something that didn't even work. Shake my head. what do I do?

    i'm deeming this xbox live rewards as bogus! i have been an xbox live gold member for years and it keeps prompting me to upgrade to gold...yet, how do i upgrade to gold when im already gold!

    Hi apple, sorry for the delayed response!

    Is your console's hard drive an official Xbox product, or is it a 3rd party hard drive purchased separately from the console? If it's a 3rd party HDD, then I'm afraid we can't guarantee its quality. If it's an official Xbox HDD, then try the following:

    • Delete the incomplete game download file in Settings > System > Storage.
    • Clear the cache and restart the console.
    • Restart the download from Settings > Account > Download History.
    Don't start any online games or streaming videos. If the network connection isn't fast enough to manage both the download and the video stream, then the console will choose your current activity and pause the download.

    See how the download fares after that and let us know how it goes!

    IM JUST SAYING BUT WHY DO YOU GUYS NEED TO DELETE IT? Just keep it in case. It doesn't even take any space. If you need to delete it becuase of the space then get a xbox with a bigger GB. damn man!

    I've had this happen to me on games before, have you tried going into your storage and deleting the game off your hard drive? Even though it won't complete download it will still have some storage space so try deleting it from there and trying again.

    Why do you have so little space on a 250GB hard drive is the more concerning matter? I install all games I buy, delete them when I sell them but keep the saves just in case. I still have loads of space left lol even with loads of demos on there!
