Xbox keeps making me buy things I’ve already purchased before.

Hi! I’ve been recently dealing with this pretty annoying issue where things I’ve already had purchased are needing to be bought again. This issue started where I tried to play Halo 3 ODST, which is purchasable DLC for Halo the master chief collection. When I tried to play it, it said that I needed to buy it, even though I had already purchased ODST a while ago, and was playing it a few months ago. I just decided to buy it, as it wasn’t that much money. But now this issue is happening for Black Ops 3, where all the zombie DLC maps are apparently requiring me to buy them again, even though like I said, I had purchased all the DLCS way back, and had been playing them for years. This time I’m reaching out for help, as I’m not trying to spend money for things I should already have purchased. Also, all the zombie DLC maps costed a lot. The only reason why I can think this is happening is because I switched from Playing on Xbox one to Xbox one s. But that really doesn’t make sense as to why I would need to repurchase things I already bought because I switched consoles.

Please try to check in the order history in this following website : Microsoft account | Home just to make sure that the purchase was through your account. However, if the DLC is in the account, I suggest removing your account and add it back.
In case the issue still persists, please contact the game developer for further assistance.

i am online with xbox support now.

read a post from some months back where the fix is to chat to them and they ‘refresh your xbox live account’

i am not sure if this bypasses their OnlinePurchase issues or not

have mentioned you online to xb support guy Arens Viccolo P with a ‘BTW this guy has similar issue’

Have the same problem with Fortnight asking for gold signup. Have a 12 mo membership which we are only half way through.

Sorry, i was playing on a pc and xbox simultaneously until 2 minutes ago.

Yes, they fixed my issue ( perhaps by presing magic ‘refresh account’ button )

Arens ( see earlier ) fixed it.

Ask them to do the same. I went away for a drink came back and could play online. Might be easier to check your status on https://xboxgamertag.com is GOLD before bothering though.

Good luck. Would like to know the outcome. Sorry I cannot give you more detail ( I was not given any and got disconnected falling back into 7th in queue for support : hence the drink i mentioned just now ) .

I looked up my gamertag as well and it does show it as silver.

However, I purchased the 12 month subscription back in April so that shouldnt be the issue. I also only play on Xbox.

Ive seen the status from Microsoft about some problems on their end but cant figure out how that would affect my gold status. My brother hasnt had a problem playing on his xbox at his house and we live in the same city. I can receive invites from him but
as soon as I accept the purchase screen comes up.
